Mr. Hadi currently heads the Digital Trade Section which is a newly created section inMATRADE. Before this, he heads the South Asia Unit which oversees trade promotional activities in countries such as India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Nepal, Afghanistan and Bhutan.

Prior to his current post, he has been instrumental in establishing MATRADE office in Mumbai,India. As the Malaysian Trade Commissioner in Mumbai, he managed to create platforms to enable dialogues between Malaysian and Indian businesses through various trade promotional key initiatives. His role during the 4 years stint in India include promoting Malaysia’s exports and cross-border investment to India and countries under his areas of coverage ie Pakistan, Afghanistan and Nepal. He has successfully driven key initiatives such as organizing solo Malaysian exhibitions “Showcase Malaysia”. Specialized Marketing Missions and Incoming Buying Missions are among other key initiatives undertaken by his office to further enhance the trade relation between Malaysia and all countries under the office’s coverage.

Before starting Fave and KFit, Chen Chow was the Regional Operations Director for Groupon Asia Pacific, moving up the ranks since joining as COO for Groupon Malaysia and Taiwan in 2011. Prior to Groupon, CC was a Product Manager at JobStreet.com and a Management Consultant at Accenture.

CC is a graduate of the prestigious Cornell University and an Eisenhower Fellow. Outside of work, he is passionate about youth empowerment, with involvement in various non-profit organisations such as Young Corporate Malaysians. He is also an angel investor, who has invested in numerous early-stage startups across the region.

After 6 years in promotion division, she was transferred to Branding Unit for a year and served in Corporate Communication Unit as the Manager of the Unit for another four years. In 2014, she was promoted as a Senior Manager of China Unit under the Trade and Services Promotion Division. Taking into account the importance of eCommerce, MATRADE has established the eTRADE Unit in November 2015 and Ms Asnor was given the task to head the Unit until now under the Digital Trade Section. She is responsible to encourage the adoption of e-commerce among Malaysian companies through the eTRADE Programme with the aim to accelerate exports by listing Malaysian products or services in international eCommerce platforms.

Mohamed Yusnee Rahmat Mohd Yusof is the Director of ASEAN Centre of Entrepreneurship (ACE) at Malaysian Global Innovation & Creativity Centre (MaGIC). The unit offers a comprehensive platform that provides startup support services for entrepreneurs to grow their businesses beyond borders. It is the first of its kind to provide such platform for Malaysian startups. It also collaborates with multiple agencies and has a strong ASEAN startup community ecosystem.

Yusnee comes from a diverse background with over 20 years in Business Development and Sales in various industries ranging from banking, IT services and market research. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from MARA University of Technology, Malaysia.

His entrepreneurship journey started back in the year 2000 when he setup his own IT services company focusing on document management systems and scanning services. In 2006 he sold f his company and joined Fuji Xerox, Malaysia. He strongly believes that a combination of factors including a strong team, a good business model and proper execution, along with financial support are vital in growing a successful business.

Prior to joining MaGIC, Yusnee was a Director of Business Development and Sales at International Data Corporation (IDC), an international market research company that also focuses on information and communication technology, where he dealt with major telecommunication companies and various government agencies on market intelligence, emerging technology and market opportunities.
